Storm Over the Hills
A landscape note on low cloud, warm breaks in weather, and mountain light.

Weather gives the hills a second surface.
The cloud sits low enough to feel close, while the last warm light keeps the scene from becoming heavy. I like the tension between the softness of the mist and the weight of the tree line.
For landscape and travel photography, weather is not something to work around. It is often the thing that gives the photograph its memory.
