Working the Beach

A bright coastal note on beach work, red chairs, palm shade, and a sunlit street edge.

Beach towns are still working towns.

The red chairs catch the eye first, but the scene feels practical: walls, palms, shade, and the everyday business of keeping a place moving under the sun.

I like photographs that resist being only vacation pictures. The colour can be cheerful, but the frame should still notice the labour and routine around it.

Travel photography gets better when it remembers that beautiful places are also lived in and worked through.
