Holding the Last Colour

A single leaf can carry the mood of a whole season.

Held against water and low sun, it becomes a small piece of evidence: colour before it disappears, warmth before the light cools off. The gesture is almost too simple, which is why it works.

Photography is often just a way of holding something briefly.

This small gesture has the same emotional logic I look for in couples and family photography. A photograph does not need to announce itself loudly when it holds the feeling of a season with honesty.
