Fallen Colour
A note on wet ground, scattered leaves, and looking down instead of out.

Looking down changes the pace of a walk.
The large view disappears and small things begin to matter: leaves, wet ground, colour caught in dark texture. The photograph does not explain where it was made, and that anonymity helps.
Sometimes a place is best remembered by what it leaves underfoot.
Small details like this are part of why I avoid rushing through sessions. In family photography and wedding coverage, the overlooked pieces often become the texture that makes a gallery feel personal.
