Wakeboard Splash

A reflection on motion, lake darkness, and catching the exact moment water breaks.

Water shows timing immediately.

A half-second earlier, this frame would be mostly anticipation. A half-second later, the shape would collapse. Here, the splash holds just long enough to make the movement visible.

That is the same instinct I rely on in documentary wedding photography and active family sessions: wait for the gesture to become readable, then get out of its way.
