On Photographs That Age Well
Restraint, memory, and the kind of Lake Louise photograph that still feels honest later.
The photographs I return to are rarely the most polished ones. They are usually the images with a little air around them: a hand half-raised, hair caught in wind, someone looking just past the camera because a person they love said something funny.
Good photographs leave room for recognition. They do not need to explain everything.
That is the feeling I am always trying to make space for in a session.
This is the standard I bring to weddings, engagements, and family photography across Alberta. The goal is not to chase a trend, but to make photographs that still feel honest years from now.
