Shore Portrait

A coastal portrait note on wind, dark clothing, and letting the landscape shape the mood.

The coast has a way of simplifying a portrait.

Wind, rock, water, and a single standing figure can be enough. The expression does not need to announce itself when the whole frame already has a mood.

For portrait photography, I like locations that give people something real to stand inside. The landscape should support the person, not compete with them.
