Road Mirror
A personal note on reflection, travel, and the strange usefulness of accidental frames.

Some photographs happen because the frame finds you first.
A mirror, a window, a reflection in glass. These surfaces split the scene into parts and make the act of looking visible. You are inside the photograph and outside it at the same time.
I like road pictures for that reason. They remind me that movement changes the way attention works.
Reflection and movement are recurring parts of travel photography, but they also shape how I see commissioned work. A good documentary photograph often includes the feeling of looking, not just the thing being looked at.
