Alley in Blue Shadow
A city reflection on alley light, brick texture, and the shape of narrow streets.
Alleys are useful because they do not try to be scenic.
The brick, bins, signs, and narrow strip of light are all practical things. Together, they make a frame with texture and direction.
For street and travel photography, I often prefer the side route. It usually tells the truth of a city with less performance.
