Jellyfish in Violet Light
An aquarium reflection on colour, floating movement, and photographing luminous subjects.

Aquarium light feels almost too easy until you try to hold it still.
The jellyfish drift through violet and blue, soft enough that the frame could turn into pure colour. I like that they keep their delicate shape inside all that glow.
Photographing luminous subjects is good practice for restraint. The colour is generous, but the composition still has to carry the image.
