Canal Before Rain

Rain changes the posture of a street before it arrives.
The trees darken, the water goes flat, and the buildings seem to wait. I like the stillness in the frame because it feels temporary.
Travel photography does not always need a landmark. Sometimes the weather over a canal says more about a place than the obvious view.
