A close engagement detail where a hand on a shoulder becomes the strongest part of the photograph.
Small gestures can carry a whole session.
The frame works because the body language is doing the speaking. Nothing needs to be pushed very hard when the connection is already visible.
For Alberta engagement photography and couples sessions, I look for simple direction, honest posture, and locations that help people feel like themselves rather than like they are performing for a camera.
