Red Wall, White Dress
A Calgary portrait built from restraint, colour, and the simplicity of a white dress against a red wall.

Some portraits need very little.
A wall, a dress, a line of windows, a person standing still enough for the frame to settle. When the elements are plain, every small decision becomes visible: where the hands fall, how much space is left around the body, how the color holds the photograph together.
Restraint is not emptiness. It is choosing what gets to speak.
Simple wedding portraits can carry a lot when colour, posture, and space are handled carefully. For Calgary and Alberta weddings, I prefer this kind of restraint over posing that pulls attention away from the person.
